As on a national scale, a first day of mobilization against the pension reform is scheduled for Thursday in Lyon.

The procession will leave at 11 a.m. from the Manufacture des Tabacs to reach Place Bellecour.

A very well-attended strike in National Education

If it is difficult for the moment to know if the demonstration will be of scale or not, it seems to be already particularly followed in National Education.

The Snudi-FO union has announced a “massive strike” in primary schools in the Rhône department.

In total, more than a hundred schools will be closed with 75% of teachers on strike in the first degree.

In Lyon, almost the majority of schools will be affected by this strike movement and most will not offer a canteen service.

In establishments where the number of strikers is greater than 25%, a minimum service must be provided by territorial civil servants.

However, as we wrote on Tuesday, the latter should also

"largely mobilize"

, according to a Snudi-FSU representative.

Nurseries closed

Regarding early childhood, the city currently has 328 strikers in its crèches.

Five of them will be open this Thursday, 30 partially open and 12 completely closed.

These are only the municipal crèches in the city of Lyon.

Slow transport

All metro, tram and bus lines in the metropolis of Lyon will be impacted by this strike movement.

On the metro side, line A should run with a frequency of 5 minutes announce the TCL, lines B and C will run normally and line D with a frequency of 4 minutes.

The F1 funicular will run normally while the F2 will be at a standstill all day.

On the tram side, the T7 will not run, the T3 will have a frequency of 14 to 22 minutes and will stop at Meyzieu ZI and the T1, T2, T4 and T6 will have a frequency between 10 and 20 minutes.

The T5 will circulate normally

Finally, the bus network will stop exceptionally at 8:30 p.m. this Thursday evening.

Some lines will run with reduced frequency until this time while others will not run at all (C6E, C15E, 5, 7, 14, 15E, 16, 17, 18, 27, 34, 50E, 57, 63 , 65, 66, 67, 76, 78, 81, 85, 89E, 95, S1, S4, S6, S9, S11, S12, S15, Zi8, PL1, PL2 and PL3).
