The Constitution Committee chaired by MK Simcha Rothman is meeting at this time (Wednesday) to continue discussing the legal reforms.
The proposal that is put up for discussion is the status of the Attorney General and an amendment to the Basic Law of the Government which will state that the position of the attorneys is not binding but only advisory.
Throughout the week, discussions were held in the committee on the reform and former senior officials from the judicial system came to express their opposition.
The one who came today is former Minister of Justice Dan Meridor.
