In the Ministry of the Negev Galilee and the National Resilience, a government decision requests the transfer of powers in favor of the rehabilitation of neighborhoods damaged by illegal infiltrators, in accordance with the coalition agreement signed between Otzma Yehudit and the Likud party.
At the cabinet meeting next week, the government is expected to approve the transfer of powers to his office at Minister Wasserlauf's request.
After the transfer of powers, Minister Wasserlauf intends to formulate in the coming weeks a comprehensive plan to deal with the issue and to allocate, among other things, tens of millions of shekels each year for the benefit of the project.

It should be noted that the State Comptroller's report stated that: "The reality of life in the five neighborhoods of South Tel Aviv, where a significant number of foreigners live in Israel, is complex and fraught with difficulties.
There is no doubt that the quality of life of the local residents has been greatly affected, and their neighborhoods have changed beyond recognition."

The Minister of the Negev, the Galilee and National Resilience, Yitzhak Wasserlauf said: "The residents of South Tel Aviv deserve economic, social justice and personal security. We must not abandon the residents who have been harmed for a long period of time due to the concentration of illegal infiltrators within their areas of residence. Our role in the plan we will formulate for them will be to transform the populations The weakened who are kneeling under the burden caused since the arrival of the infiltrators to stronger populations and to rehabilitate the affected areas."
