Hamburg – When crossing the railway tracks on Sophie-Schoop-Weg in Allermöhe in Hamburg-Bergedorf, two young women were apparently hit by a regional train and critically injured.
The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

As a spokesman for the federal police reports, one of the approximately 18-year-old women came to a hospital with life-threatening injuries – the second of the two died at the scene of the accident.
The twins, according to a Deutsche Bahn employee, are said to be known for regularly going onto the train tracks to jump aside just before the train.
"That's the kick" they are said to have said to railway employees.
Because of the rescue operation, trains had to be forwarded via Wittenberge to Hamburg Central Station.
This was announced by a railway spokeswoman.

The S21 between Billwerder and Bergedorf could not drive in the meantime either.
A rail replacement service was set up.
The two women are said to have been caught by the regional train about 250 meters from the S-Bahn station.

Initially, the officials only found one seriously injured person in the track bed.
An ambulance began resuscitation.
A short time later, a second injured person was discovered on the tracks.
She was also treated by the ambulance.
