Three years after the crime of Fernando Báez Sosa -the 18-year-old boy beaten to death outside a nightclub in Villa Gesell-, this Wednesday the last day of the trial against the eight rugby players accused of killing him is being held.
The defense summoned two experts, but the expectation revolves around the possibility that more defendants decide to testify.
Until now, only three have done so: Máximo Thomsen and the brothers Luciano and Ciro Pertossi.

After avoiding talking about Fernando's crime for three years, during the trial only Máximo Thomsen, Ciro and Luciano Pertossi asked to speak.
They made short expositions -they sought to record their version on specific evidence- and refused to answer most of the questions.

Only two are the witnesses that remain to testify before the Oral Criminal Court (TOC) 1 of Dolores, since the rest of those who were initially scheduled were rescheduled for the previous hearings or withdrawn by the parties.
They are doctors Juan José Fenoglio and Jorge Rodolfo Velich, experts on behalf of the defense.
According to reports, they will point to alleged inconsistencies in the work of the doctor Diego Duarte, who performed the autopsy on Fernando after the crime, at the Pinamar Hospital.
