A young woman went through a journey of horrors by her father and brother that ended in prison for the two

The journey of horrors that a young woman went through at the hands of her brother and father ended today (Thursday) when the court sentenced the brother, a resident of Sharon, to three years in prison and his father to 30 months in prison - for threats and assault on the family member.

Among other things, they were also attributed with an explicit threat of murder and an intention to disappear the body.

In the indictment in which the two were convicted, it was stated that last March, during an argument between the defendant and his wife over the fact that she had downloaded the Facebook application to her phone, the defendant tried to attack her.

Their daughter stood in the middle, the father broke his wife's phone and told his daughter: "If you continue to interfere in everything I will kill you."

The indictment submitted by the prosecution unit of the Kfar Saba branch also revealed that the two defendants discovered that their sister had an iPad and in response they began looking for it in her room.

When they found him, the accused beat her and the father told the son that he would take the sister, kill her and throw her into a well.

When the mother said she would come with them - the two returned from their actions.

But it didn't end there, in another case the father asked his son to buy poison and put it in his daughter's water, but he couldn't find where to buy the product.

Later, the son found out that his sister was talking to a strange man, he took her to a cemetery and threatened her there.

Fortunately for her, before he could hurt her, another brother arrived and dissuaded him from his actions.

Attorney Ziva Lederman, the representative of the claims unit of the Kfar Saba branch, requested in the arguments for the punishment that the punishment of the two be made worse even though they have no criminal record, since it is a very serious indictment that presents a very serious picture of physical and verbal violence bordering on abuse of the complainant, when the father and brother rule pink In her life. "I would like to emphasize the same conspiracy that the father and the son are planning together to harm the same daughter, when the father is behind the plan and activates the child in order to carry it out," said Attorney Lederman.

In the sentence, Judge Amit Fries wrote that the actions of the accused are part of the severe phenomenon of violence within the family unit.

"This is a phenomenon that is often characterized by acts that are difficult to detect, given the paucity of witnesses and the reluctance of the victims to involve the authorities. Also, more than once, relatively minor offenses are a harbinger of the occurrence of more serious offenses later on, even the most serious ones possible."

As for the incident at the cemetery, Judge Fries wrote that "the incident is admittedly less serious, here only the brother was involved, and he did not even act with physical violence against the complainant. However, this is a threat of the highest level of seriousness, when he took the complainant (meaning he forced her to come with him) to the house Kebarot, in the dark, thereby terrorizing her to the utmost, and setting the stage for the most severe violence against her and even murdering her. It was not this, either, only the involvement of a person, who came to the scene on the mother's behalf, dissuaded the accused from going from a phase of threats to a phase of actions."
