This week could end with a decisive diplomatic turn on Western support for Ukraine.
As Isabelle Lasserre rightly pointed out in

, the promise of delivery by France of light tanks AMX-10 RC lifted a taboo.
The way is now open for sending heavy tanks.
The United Kingdom has already committed to donating 14 Challengers 2 tanks to kyiv. And this Friday - at the American base in Ramstein, Germany - another step could be taken at a meeting of the 'NATO.
Poland and Finland are willing to transfer Leopard tanks to Ukraine and are waiting for a German green light for this.
France and Germany will also have to quickly decide whether or not to take this new step.
Why are allies gripped by this sense of urgency?
Spring, which will arrive in a few weeks, should mark a new tipping point in the Ukrainian conflict.
