Homs, SANA- With the participation of about 160 male and female teachers, the Homs branch of the Vanguards of the Baath Organization (Theater, Music and Art Office) was established.

With the participation of about 160 male and female teachers, the Homs branch of the Vanguards of the Baath Organization (Office of Theatre, Music and Folklore) held a “course to prepare and qualify training frameworks and unify artistic work for the year 2023 in the field of playing, singing, folk arts and expressive dance.”

Member of the leadership of the Homs branch of the Vanguards of the Baath Organization and head of the Bureau of Culture and Arts, Faten Al-Mahmoud, stated that the aim of the course is to qualify training cadres in all regions and vanguard units, and to acquaint students with the development of the concept of singing, group and individual performance, and to learn about the types of expressive dance, in addition to preparing the students to work to complete an integrated vanguard work. In all areas of the course, the working methods of the Theater and Music Bureau are unified.

Al-Mahmoud indicated that the course was held in all regions of the governorate in order to make it easy for all cadres to follow it, and it was organized over 3 days during the midterm vacation, indicating that it included theoretical periods and practical applications.

A number of participating teachers stated that the course opened new horizons for them to develop their skills and provide the best for their students in these fields.
