More than 20 vehicles, including trucks and passenger cars, were stranded in the snow in Colorado after a multiple collision on Interstate I-70 on Wednesday, the State Patrol reported.
The accident between East Airpark Road and the Kansas state line involved at least nine semi-trucks and 12 private vehicles.
So far no serious injuries or deaths have been reported, according to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP).

Authorities said the highway, which runs from Denver to the Kansas state line, will remain closed indefinitely and may be able to clear it until Thursday.
They also warned drivers not to use alternate routes because the roads remained dangerous from wind and snow that has left the tracks slippery.

Authorities were first contacted with a report of a crushed semi-truck, then other vehicles were trapped in the accident.
A spokesman for the State Patrol, quoted by KMGH-TV, indicated that the crash caused fuel leaks and that a team is on the scene trying to contain them.

Some 50 to 60 semi-trucks were parked on the interstate as crews tried to clear the tracks, KMGH-TV reported.
Local authorities have warned during the day that "the roads remain dangerous due to ice and poor visibility, which makes it very difficult to travel safely."
