At about 10 am today (19th), the police received a report from a man that he saw a man beheading the feet of another man with a knife on the street outside the swimming pool at No. 9 Lei Yue Mun Road, Kwun Tong.
The man surnamed Xu (32 years old) who was attacked was seriously injured in both feet, bleeding profusely, and immediately fell to the ground.
The knifeman fled without end.
The police and ambulance crews arrived at the scene. The victim was in a semi-conscious state. He was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for emergency treatment and fell into a coma.
At the scene, a large amount of blood was left on the pedestrian road to form a "blood road", and there were also bloody footprints on the road.
The police classified the case as wounding, and detectives from the criminal investigation team cordoned off the scene for investigation.
It is understood that Xu Nan was involved in a case of trafficking in dangerous drugs and was arrested by the customs earlier. Today (19th) at 9:30 in the morning, he appeared in the Kwun Tong Court.
He left the Kwun Tong Court and crossed the road. When he was heading towards the Kwun Tong Swimming Pool, a man suddenly slashed at Xu Nan's left foot multiple times from behind, and then fled.
The police are investigating whether the murder is related to the drug trafficking case.
