The Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghobash, discussed with the joint committee between the Ministry of Health and the Syrian Medical Association ways to enhance medical services provided to citizens.
During the meeting held today at the Ministry, Dr. Al-Ghobash stressed the importance of participatory work and providing all support for the work of medical unions, which will reflect positively on the effectiveness of services.
The meeting discussed the importance of correcting and amending some work details related to premarital laboratories, the joint fund system, the use of prescriptions in hospitals, and activating the role of joint committees in the governorates, in addition to drafting the necessary amendments to relevant decisions and circulars to serve the best performance of the profession.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health, a number of concerned central directors, the Syndicate of Syrian Doctors, some members of the Syndicate Council, and heads of the Syndicate branches in a number of governorates.
