Pfrombach/Aich

– After more than two years of the corona pandemic, life has returned to normal.

It was no different with the Pfrombach-Aich volunteer fire brigade, but the volunteers can still look back on a tough year with many challenges.

At the annual general meeting, commander Rainer Göbl stated that they had mastered this well.

The number of alerts has increased enormously

The number of emergency alerts has increased enormously: from 16 in 2021 to 65 now. The helpers from the southern Moosburg districts were on site for eight fires and 32 technical assistance.

On a very special day, one experienced the extreme closeness of joy and sorrow: at the wedding of a comrade, the firefighters were just forming the traditional hose trellis when the siren went off.

Then they quickly fought the fire in a combine harvester in Aich - and returned to the wedding celebration.

"The groom would have liked to have moved out with us," remembered Commander Rainer Göbl.

The statistics of the 65 missions would look very different if the extreme storm in the previous year were not counted as one mission.

24 people traveled for ten hours in 25 different places.

That was the mammoth task of almost 1000 hours of use.

The fire brigade worked a total of 3417 hours (2021: 1496), with Rainer Göbl no longer writing down his work.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

The Pfrombach-Aich volunteer fire brigade currently has 57 active members, five of whom belong to the youth fire brigade.

The commander was pleased to note that various courses had been taken and a high level of qualification had been achieved.

In the assembly, the chief of the active team also had pleasant obligations.

He promoted Josef Trappentreu jun.

to the fire chief.

With Tobias Pichlmaier (changed from the Oberhummel fire brigade), Kathrin Strohmayer, Jennifer Maier, Yvonne Hackl, Philipp Junker, Magdalena Schmid and Rene Geiger, there were seven new recordings.

150th anniversary is coming up in 2025

The fire brigade association presented an amendment to the statutes so that digital meetings would also be possible in the future, and the minimum age of 14 years was removed.

In addition, a large festival committee was decided by the members.

This is intended to prepare the 150th anniversary of the Pfrombach-Aich fire brigade from May 23rd to 25th, 2025.

Other dates this year are the carnival ball in the Schützenheim on February 4th and the Schäfflertanz on February 5th at 11:30 a.m. at the fire station.
