Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich today (Thursday) signed an order to reduce the price of fuel by 10 agora starting next Sunday, so that the price will be 6.84 per liter.
The orders include a reduction of the purchase tax and the excise tax on gasoline.
"Another step and another step in the fight against the cost of living," Smotrich said.
"The plan we presented, including the reduction in the price of a liter of gasoline, is only the first step. The cost of living affects every family in Israel, and the situation must change. In the coming months, we will bring additional and significant steps. This is in our hearts."
