The forces, acting with the assistance of a special team sent from China, managed to locate eight bodies that were trapped in the avalanche in the city of Ningchi in southwest Tibet.

According to media in Beijing, the rescue teams include hundreds of people as well as seventy vehicles, heavy rescue equipment and digging machines that work around the clock in a place that is over three thousand meters high.
According to the reports, in the coming hours the forces will begin digging a rescue corridor to a depth of 350 meters in an attempt to locate the missing.
