Climate activist Luisa Neubauer and "Hard but fair" moderator Louis Klamroth are a couple.
The Plasberg successor apparently concealed the love from the TV station.
Munich/Berlin – In January, Louis Klamroth celebrated his premiere as presenter of the ARD program “Hart aber fair”.
Before taking over Frank Plasberg's TV talk show, the 33-year-old apparently left the WDR in the dark about his relationship with Luisa Neubauer.
Klamroth only made his love for the climate activist public in December.
"Since I'm with a public figure, I think the public has a right to know that," said Klamroth in an interview with the online
portal
DWDL.de.
"Hard but fair" moderator Klamroth apparently concealed the relationship with Luisa Neubauer
According to Bild.de
, WDR found out about
the relationship with Neubauer earlier than the public.
But probably only after the official presentation of Klamroth as Plasberg successor.
According to the report, the 33-year-old denied a question about possible conflicts of interest.
Specifically, a spokeswoman said to the newspaper: "Mr. Klamroth's private life was not an issue in the discussions between WDR and him before the collaboration was announced." Germany informed.
A few days earlier, on August 17, WDR presented Klamroth as Plasberg's successor.
"Hard but fair": Luisa Neubauer not a guest of the political talk show
Like the WDR, Klamroth ruled out that Neubauer would be a guest on "Hart aber fair".
Compared to
DWDL.de
, the moderator said in December: "And it goes without saying that my partner will not be a guest on my show."
Not least because of the demonstrations in Lützerath, Neubauer would have been a thematically appropriate discussion partner on the political talk show.
The 26-year-old was at the demos together with the face of the "Fridays for Future" movement, Greta Thunberg.
