2023-01-19T06:16:59.597Z

In a loft bathed in light, in a state-of-the-art studio or in an intimate hotel, well-being has never been so accessible. Want to play sports, get a massage or drink a coffee for less than 150 euros all inclusive? Follow the guide.

Places

An urban refuge centered around good living, the

HoY Paris

is already well known to the inhabitants of the 9th arrondissement where it has been established ever since.

Meaning both "today" in Spanish and "House of Yoga", it is the fusion of the two passions of its founder Charlotte, hotelier and yoga teacher of Mexican origin.

With its practice studio and its hotel rooms transformed into treatment cabins, it brings together all

healthy

Parisians who come to recharge their batteries.

Want to cut yourself off from the hustle and bustle of the capital?

Meet in the cocoon of sweetness of

Maison Alaena

, a family adventure bringing together three sisters and their parents, respectively dermatologist and plastic surgeon in Biarritz.

It is in a sumptuous loft embracing the horizon that they have established their first Parisian address where treatments are offered (provided with Alaena products), consultations (micronutrition, naturopathy, respiratory support, etc.), yoga classes and of Pilates.

An environment that invites calm and appeasement.

The latest in the galaxy, a few minutes from the Saint-Martin canal,

KAH Studio & Coffee

is the culmination of the vision of three women: Aurélie, yoga teacher, Hind, sports coach and Kaïna, serial entrepreneur.

By calling on professionals with know-how as specialized as they are complementary, this studio appeals to a demanding public, both for the sports component and in the "Kahbine" of care.

The perfect place to open your horizons with new practices and techniques.

Treatment cabins

Solo or duo, the cabins of Maison Alaena take up the neutral tones and natural materials of the place.

No more Swedish or Californian massages, the

HoY Paris

calls on around fifty practitioners (including fifteen who are very regular) to combine a full spectrum of treatments dedicated to energy and exchange therapies: Ayurvedic or shamanic massages, suction cups, Rebozo treatment, lithotherapy, reiki, holistic or post-partum osteopathy… Each treatment, provided in rooms 31 and 33, is punctuated by an intention, a wish for oneself or for the world.

Hard to make a choice ?

We reserve an Ayurvedic treatment with Ludivine, including a sound meditation (crystal bowls), a realignment of the chakras and a body massage with hot oil to circulate the energies in the body.

At

Maison Alaena

, care is above all ethical.

From the beginning of the 2000s, Sylvie, the dermatologist mother, struggled to find cosmetics that combined medical efficacy and ingredient safety.

Two years of research were needed to patent active ingredients made from sprouted seeds, buckwheat, amaranth, flax and organic green soybeans and to develop a skincare range that is as minimalist as it is effective, without any contested chemical ingredients (paraben , silicone, endocrine disruptor…).

All face and body protocols thus combine the expertise of Alaena cosmetics, the sensory pleasure of green and floral notes and the agility of practitioners recruited from Parisian palaces.

At

KAH

, the den dedicated to well-being is concealed behind a large mirror.

Here, the cabin is adorned with warm pink and orange hues, the antithesis of the industrial and raw spirit of the studio.

Eight professionals lavish their best techniques there: facial reflexology, kobido, nuad boran, Ayurvedic massage, energy treatment, lymphatic drainage, reflexology... The must: facial massages by Delphine, a facialist using a myriad of processes (drainage, guasha, kobido, intra-oral…) to smooth the features, reduce wrinkles and offer a real moment of relaxation.

sports studios

True to its name, yoga is in the spotlight at

HoY

, with a studio operated by YUJ, the first French collective to offer a practice in the dark, in a heated room and under infrared light.

This Japanese method allows heat to directly reach the muscle tissues to deeply cleanse, evacuate toxins and gain flexibility.

Several one-hour lessons are offered every day on the first floor of the hotel, to the rhythm of well-crafted playlists adapted to all levels.

A hotel room has also been transformed into a Bloom meditation room, with 60-90 minute classes focusing on breathing, stress management, sleep and concentration including sound baths and gentle postures.

At

Maison Alaena

, the practice is as confidential as the place.

Yoga classes (Vinyasa, Yin or Fertility Yoga), given in front of the most beautiful monuments in Paris, are limited to six people for personalized postural support.

Pilates, kundalini, nidra and sound bath sessions are also given once a month to complete the offer.

A true innovation in the world of Parisian studios with three spacious rooms,

KAH

renews the genre with new disciplines such as Skulpt (body weight strengthening), Yoga Skulpt (strengthening and yoga) No barre (inspired by the bar on the floor ), Core & sweat (mix of cardio and abs), Booty power (gluteal focus) or Flex & mobility (active stretching), offered in addition to more traditional HIIT, yoga and Pilates classes.

Although options suitable for beginners are always offered by the teachers, this studio is aimed more at seasoned athletes.

For a first discovery, we reserve the Flawless Yoga & Thai Massage course, a gentle yoga practice interspersed with three massage phases, with a pleasant surprise at the end of the session...

Coffee break

The beating heart of the establishment from breakfast to dinner, Mesa, la table du

HoY

, unveils an entirely vegetable and seasonal menu, imagined by the founders of the Plant Academy London.

The nutritional qualities of each product are studied and sustainably grown products are favoured.

In cookies, cocoa is for example replaced by carob, renowned for its digestive properties and produced in the Mediterranean.

Same spirit with drinks sometimes stimulating (Yerba), sometimes soothing (Shavasana).

At

Maison Alaena

, we consider the balance and quality of the skin as a reflection of dietary habits.

The catering offer, limited to a selection of pastries, is lactose-free, gluten-free and with a reduced glycemic index.

Lemon cake, banana bread or brownie are to be associated with organic and gourmet teas from the Tea Party.

In a colorful capsule designed by Hélène Lacombe and Marion Oberlin, the

KAH

pushes the sports experience to the limit with a selection of drinks designed to optimize recovery and a roasted coffee at the gates of Paris.

Peckish ?

Let yourself be tempted by a slice of soft cake, a cookie with a praline heart or a decadent peanut butter brownie.
