Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev warned that the loss of a nuclear power in a conventional war could lead to the start of a nuclear war.
Medvedev said in a post today through his account on the “Telegram” website, according to Sputnik: “Tomorrow, at the NATO Ramstein base, senior military leaders will discuss new tactics and strategies, in addition to supplying Ukraine with heavy weapons and new strike systems.”
Medvedev added: “Their mouthpiece says that to achieve peace, Russia must lose, without realizing that the loss of a nuclear power in a conventional war could lead to the outbreak of a nuclear war.”
