Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke today (Thursday) with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan about promoting normalization with Saudi Arabia.
According to the Prime Minister's Office, they also discussed a joint effort to stop the Iranian nuclear program and Iran's activities in the region.
Netanyahu acknowledged President Joe Biden's commitment that Iran would not have nuclear weapons.
"I have known President Biden for 40 years as a great friend of Israel, I know how much he trusts you in matters of national security," Netanyahu said at the beginning of the meeting.
"You should know that we see you as loyal partners in matters of common security, and of course the promotion of peace."
According to the Prime Minister's Office, the two welcomed the importance of strategic relations between Israel and the United States and the need to deepen them, and also discussed the next steps to deepen the Abraham Accords and expand the circle of peace.

The extended meeting was attended, among others, by the Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, and the head of the National Security Council, Tzachi Hanegbi, as well as the ambassador to the United States, Mike Herzog, and the American ambassador, Tom Neides.
Earlier, Hanegbi held a meeting with Sullivan, and the two also held a virtual meeting with the national security advisors of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
The four declared their commitment to deepening the Abraham Accords and discussed practical steps to promote common interests in the region.
Biden's national security adviser also met with Mossad head David Barnea.
The two discussed the strategic challenges of the countries, and the great importance of continued cooperation between the security agencies in dealing with them.
