On Tuesday January 17, the police proceeded to dismantle a major crack sales outlet in the 18th arrondissement of Paris,

learned from a source familiar with the matter.
On that day, police officers from the 18th arrondissement police station, backed up by five columns from Operational Support Groups (GSO) and an intervention brigade from the Department of Public Order and Traffic (DOPC) proceeded to a vast operation of arrests in the Raymond Queneau estate.
Nine people linked to this outlet were arrested.
During their intervention, the police discovered and seized a large quantity of cash, equipment used to manufacture doses of crack, as well as telecommunications equipment (telephones and walkie-talkie).
It had been almost four and a half months since the police had placed this traffic under surveillance.
