The president maintained that he did not go to the activity together with the head of state, because the Portezuelo del Viento hydroelectric project harms Mendoza.
“The President's decision is to ingratiate himself with La Pampa, who are from the same political space.
But this is a work for the country, that's why I have a lot of anger, ”he said in dialogue with Radio Con Vos.
Suárez also stated that until Monday, shortly before the event took place, no person from the Presidency of the Nation contacted him to invite him to participate.
"I am the representative of all Mendoza, I cannot receive that treatment. It is not fair," he added.
On Wednesday, in full action, the President spoke about the absence of the radical governor.
"It would have been very good for him to be there, maybe someone confused the governor. I am not campaigning here, I travel the country trying to bring solutions to those who need it," he said.
The president regretted that "Rody", as he called him, was not there, said he was wrong and sent him a cordial greeting.
