The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, affirmed that the axis of resistance is steadfast because it refuses to submit to the dictates of the Americans, pointing out that the third version of the American plan in the region is based on tightening the siege and economic sanctions, as happened in Syria, where Washington imposed the sanctions after the failure of the military war against it.
Sayyed Nasrallah said in a speech he delivered today on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the launch of the Consultative Center for Studies and Documentation: “The West has returned to proxy war, as is the case in Ukraine, while its focus is now on economic pressures and sanctions,” noting that the United States does not want a strong country in Region.
With regard to the Lebanese internal affairs, Sayyed Nasrallah clarified that the economic situation in Lebanon is very difficult, and this matter is not exceptional, as there are countries that suffer from severe and suffocating economic crises, but it is not permissible for us to despair and surrender, especially since there are those who want to spread this atmosphere in Lebanon, calling for To initiate a comprehensive and scientific vision of the economic situation, on the basis of which plans and programs are drawn up.
Sayyed Nasrallah renewed his confidence in the ability of the Lebanese to rise, as they need the will, the right plan, vision, program and seriousness in action, noting the national capabilities and brains in Lebanon to produce solutions, indicating that saving the living situation is the responsibility of the state and society.
Nasrallah stressed that Lebanon today is a safe country because Israel does not dare strike it, and this is thanks to the equation of the army, the people and the resistance, specifically the resistance, pointing to the importance of expatriates as a point of strength for Lebanon even though they are being harassed by the US administration, as they are placed on the sanctions list.
And Sayyed Nasrallah indicated that the blockade is not only by placing a barge off the Lebanese shores, but rather by preventing aid, deposits and loans from abroad, and by preventing the state from accepting donations and investments and from dealing with the file of the displaced Syrians.
On the subject of the position of the President of the Lebanese Republic, Sayyed Nasrallah said: “We want a president of the republic to come with a government and for the country to be saved. Courageous and a state that stands firm and takes bold decisions.
