A study shows that those people who were not well hydrated had a 21% higher risk of suffering premature death and a 64% higher chance of suffering, among other diseases, heart failure, diabetes and dementia.
The National Academy of Medicine of the United States recommends that women drink more than 2.7 liters of fluids daily, and men 3.7 liters to stay well hydrated.
