An indictment was filed today (Thursday) against a minor who attacked a bus driver with tear gas in Or Yehuda, just because he remarked to him about the way he was riding a scooter. The Israel Police has completed the investigation of the minor, and it is expected to request his arrest until the end of the proceedings.
Masovim station investigators started an investigation about a week ago after a bus driver was attacked for admonishing a scooter rider about the way he was driving on Route 461 at the corner of Yehezkel Kazaz in Or Yehuda.
From the findings of the investigation it emerged that the scooter rider drove without a protective helmet on an interstate road, never issued a theory and training permit as required and even mounted an additional person in violation of traffic regulations.
Got off the scooter - and broke into the bus
In the meantime, the bus driver stopped close to the scooter rider and commented to the accused about his driving style.
In response, the accused cursed the driver, got off the scooter, got on the bus and sprayed the driver with tear gas and fled the scene.
In a quick investigation by Masovim station investigators, the suspect was arrested on Sunday and brought to the station for questioning, at the end of which he was imprisoned and his detention was extended from time to time.
