In his last lesson, Rabbi Yosiah Pinto referred to the week's parshah and clarified an important element. The Rebbe's full words are inside

"And the frog will come up and cover the land of Egypt" - Rebbe Rabbi Yeshiahu Pinto referred in his lesson to this week's parashat - Parashat Vara and sharpened an important element: every person has the element of self-sacrifice that the frogs contributed to creation.

Thus said Rabbi Pinto:

The Gemara says (Sanhedrin 6:) that Eleazar would demand about the plague of frogs that there was one frog that spawned and filled all of Egypt, and Rabbi Akiva would demand that there was one frog that the Egyptians would strike, and from the plagues that struck it many frogs came out and it was a plague of frogs. Rabbi Eleazar came to him and said to him, Akiva, what about you and according to the Haggadah, Go from the wilderness of the bank and you will learn plagues and woes, it was not like that, but one frog whistled at them and many frogs came and not like you say there was one frog, and they beat it and many frogs came out of this frog.

A difficulty should be made, the Holy Torah is the Torah of all of us and everyone has the right to express their opinion in the Torah, everyone can argue and everyone can express their opinion.

Rabbi Akiva wants to express his opinion that there was one frog and from the blows that beat it, many frogs came out. He has the right to say, why should he be silenced so that he stops saying the words of the Haggadah and goes to plagues and plagues?

So we thought to interpret and say, Sages tell us (blessings sa:) at the time Rabbi Akiva was taken out to be killed there was a KSH time and they combed his flesh with iron combs.

And Rabbi Akiva would suffer the most severe torment.

His disciples saw him and said to him, "Rabbi, this is how we will see you dead?"

He said to them all my days I would be sorry for this verse with all your soul even taking your soul I said when he comes to me I will sustain him and now he comes to me I will not sustain him, then his soul blossomed and he passed away.

The commentators ask what is the meaning of all my days I was sorry for this verse when will it come to me and I will uphold it?

But the interpretation is this, God created man on the sixth day and not days before, after creating all of creation God said to all the animals and birds let's build something the best in the world, and each one will contribute his good, the lion contributed from his strength, the eagle contributed From his power, every animal contributed its goodness to creation that goes to creation, and what was created?

The first man was the chosen one of creation, who has powers from all of creation.

That is why the Mishnah says (Avot 5:20) "Be bold as a tiger and light as an eagle, and run like a gazelle and a hero like a lion." Man can be fierce as a tiger because the tiger contributed his fierceness to man, and so be light as an eagle because all the powers of animals lie in man.

When all the animals contributed their powers, the frog gave man two powers, one power of singing and praising God, and the other power of devotion.

And you see it in the plague of the frog, when God told the frogs to come, they jumped into the fire, went into the ovens of the Egyptians and gave up their souls, the frog gave man the power to give up his life.

So according to this it is possible to clarify and say, Rabbi Akiva says that the frog did not have self-sacrifice, because in the creation of the frog we were not created with great self-sacrifice, but there was one frog and other frogs were born in a miraculous way that gave up their soul and they are not ordinary and natural frogs.

If this is the case, according to Rabbi Akiva's opinion, there is not enough power of self-sacrifice for man, because according to Rabbi Akiva, the frogs were created by a miracle, and if that is so, they did not contribute to man a strong power of self-sacrifice in the creation of the world.

Rabbi Elazar says to him from the West Bank, we do We received the power of devotion from the frogs, and this is their nature, and therefore you will learn afflictions and afflictions. That is why it was difficult for Rabbi Akiva all his life to surrender, and all his life he would wait for the moment to say "Shema Yisrael" with devotion, and Rabbi Elazar tells him to go away from the words of the West Bank because you weaken the power of devotion.

And as you see (Yalkosh Psalms, Ken) when King David finished writing the book of Psalms his mind wandered over him, the Midrash says that a frog came to David and said to him David why is your mind wandered, every moment I say thousands of services to G-d, but King David was silent.

And we asked how one frog can prove King David, why was King David silent?

Rather, we said that the power of praising and glorifying God is from the frog that contributed to the creation of the world, and therefore David was silent because he received the power from the frog.

And the same can be interpreted regarding the dachshund, which was an animal that was created only for the purpose of the tabernacle, so we asked why we were not created in the creation of the world?

Rather, the Gemara says that the skin of the dachshund was very beautiful, and if it had been in the creation of the world it would have contributed a rare beauty power to man, and with such beauty people would have sinned a lot, therefore God created it only for the purpose of the Mishkan and not in the creation of the world.
