Beirut-SANA
The Lebanese parliament failed again today to elect a new president for the republic.
The Lebanese National News Agency stated that none of the candidates for the post of President of the Republic did not obtain, during the parliament session, two-thirds of the votes of the 128 members of the parliament.
It is noteworthy that this session is the eleventh to elect a President of the Republic to succeed President Michel Aoun, whose term ended on the thirty-first of last October.
