The staff merry-go-round is turning in the Wessobrunn town hall: the previous treasurer Anett Bauer-Wunderlich takes over the management – Mathias Schuster becomes the new treasurer.

Wessobrunn – At the turn of the year there were some personnel changes in the administration of the community of Wessobrunn.

The trigger was the resignation of Robert Thaller, who had only taken over the post of managing director last June.

"Mr. Thaller has decided to leave us again," explained Mayor Georg Guggemos about the rather short commitment of the Peitinger, who has now switched to the administration of the market town of Kaufering in the Landsberg district.

The vacancy in the Wessobrunn administration was quickly filled from within the company: Anett Bauer-Wunderlich, the previous treasurer of the monastery community, took over the post of managing director on January 1st.

"It's good that we had the right person in-house, so things are going smoothly," explained Guggemos.

In addition, a successor for Wessobrunn's head of finance was quickly found, Mathias Schuster will become chamberlain in the monastery from February 1st.

"We have found a good internal solution for the management and we have found a young and motivated employee for the finances," said Guggemos when introducing Schuster, who, as a trained bank clerk, went into administration a few years ago and worked at the Starnberg District Office.

"I'm excited and looking forward to the new task, the start is also made easier for me because the previous treasurer is only one office away," explained the 27-year-old shoemaker.

He is currently training to become an administrative specialist;

he is expected to complete this in September.

"I am sure that we will find each other and work well together," said Bauer-Wunderlich.

Her successor, who lives in Polling, came out as a friend of digitization when she was introduced.

"Although I would also like to hold something printed in my hand," said Schuster, who also announced that he intends to continue the cautious austerity course of his predecessor.

"At the bank I learned how to handle money responsibly and that's why I'll definitely say no when it comes to spending it," announced Schuster.

“Overall, I am very satisfied with how the change of personnel went.

I'm now confident about the future," said Guggemos at the end of the performance.
