As the year approaches, an engineering company pursued wages at the Hutchison Building in Tsing Yi this afternoon (19th), complaining that Hutchison was in arrears of 5 million in salary. More than 10,000 yuan, but after more than a month of discussion, no food has been paid yet, affecting more than dozens of workers "without money for the New Year".

More than 20 workers, including representatives of the second and third judges, blocked the entrance and exit of Cheung Fai Road, opposite the Hutchison Building in Tsing Yi, with two trucks at about 4:00 this afternoon, and posted banners, accusing Hutchison of defaulting on the contractor's 5 million blood sweat money, and also pointed out that Hutchison unreasonably deducted the cost of some sections of the project.
A police officer arrived at the scene to understand and copy the cards, and the representatives of both parties were negotiating.

A worker representative told Hong Kong 01 that the project involved was responsible for laying optical fibers in remote areas including Wujiao Teng. It was divided into 4 phases and took 2 years. The salary for that period was issued in November, but has been delayed.
The worker pointed out that he had negotiated with Hutchison, and the other party had said that he would pay more than one million yuan to the workers for the Chinese New Year, but he has not received the relevant payment so far.
The workers asked Hutchison representatives to be present and pay back wages immediately.
