The Childhood Joy Festival concluded its activities and events that lasted for six days, with the screening of the movie “Rose Game Rong” in the Directorate of Culture of Homs, in the presence of hundreds of children and adolescents.
Dozens of children also participated in forming and coloring many shapes and figures, under the supervision of the Life Skills team, which worked throughout the days of the festival in organizing these events and competitions.
The team of the “Babel” Association affiliated with Social Affairs provided entertainment and interactive activities with children, especially people with disabilities, to integrate them with their peers and exchange joy and pleasure.
During its days coinciding with the midterm holiday, the festival attracted hundreds of children and adolescents through drawing, coloring, handicrafts, competitions, theatrical, cinematic, heritage and entertainment shows that won the admiration of future youth and brought happiness to them and their families.
Homs Culture Director, Hassan Labbad, described in a statement to SANA correspondent the festival as wonderful and encouraging to repeat such events, which attracted a large number of children, and made them merge with color, music and movement with their companions.
For her part, the head of the Life Skills Team, Saba Wassouf, pointed out that the festival organized by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the Directorate of Child Culture was comprehensive and diverse this year, as the number of children participating in it increased compared to previous festivals, which is evidence of its success and insistence on repeating it to make children happy.
