At the dawn of its 80th anniversary, the French Ski School (ESF) remains a renowned institution, embodied by the image of Épinal red sweaters.
During its existence, it has seen its workforce grow from 200 monitors and 41 schools to 17,000 professionals and 220 offices.
An incredible rise that makes it claim a status: that of the largest ski school in the world, with more than 2 million students per year.
Last May, Éric Brèche, 55, was reappointed president of the National Union of French Ski Instructors (SNMSF) for a second four-year term.
