'My student Gonza': who is the music teacher who forged the success of Bizarrap and what did she say about her new song with Shakira?

2023-01-20T18:25:12.497Z

Juliana Scellato taught him piano from the age of 13 and was the one who gave him the OK to upload his first sessions to the networks. The characteristic of her that she dazzled her from day one.

The success of

BZRP Music Session #53

together with Shakira was resounding, which led the Argentine producer Bizarrap once again to lead Spotify's

Global Top 1

-with the 50 most listened to songs-.

In addition, it makes the world talk about the exorbitant numbers achieved in the first 24 hours of publishing the song: more than

14 million views on the music platform and

over

52 million views on YouTube

, where it became the song in Spanish. most listened to in a single day in history.

What rarely comes to the fore is that behind these figures, there are

hours of study and years of work

, for a long time, and also very clear ideas to which the

producer of Ramos Mejía

began to give shape as a boy, with a fundamental partner: her

piano teacher.

Juliana Scellato listened to Bizarrap's early sessions before she posted them.

His great musical teacher is called

Juliana Scellato, she

is 39 years old and was the number one adviser to the producer in the implementation of his artistic project: before publishing his first sessions, he made them listen to them and consulted her.

According to her, that was the result of the trust and connection they forged from their first classes, when Gonza, as she calls him,

was just approaching adolescence.

Gonzalo Julian Conde (24)

began his musical studies at the age of 13 and chose private piano lessons with Juliana, which little by little turned into meetings with a broader theme and very fruitful for both of them.

"

I learned a lot from Gonza

," says his teacher.

The young man from Matanzas arrived by car with his mother to the studio that Juliana had just opened, starting -she too- the project of a music school on Ramón Falcón street, very close to the Autopista del Oeste.

"Gonza" came to her because she was known to her family and taught a cousin of the producer at her home in Haedo Sur.

When

Bizarrap

started, that space had become too small for the teacher because his classes were crowded with students from the neighborhood.

When Gonzalo told her parents that he wanted to study with her, they almost opened the studio "La Sala" together.

"Gonzalo has a great ear for music. Sometimes I would explain something to him and he would immediately say: 'ah! Like this?'

And it was like that," says Juliana.

"Specifically, in the first class we talked about what he wanted to study. An

unusual

student but with

very clear ideas

. Shy until he gained confidence. He was a boy," recalls the teacher 11 years later, who has her own musical history as a member of the rock band Guillermina, among other projects.

"He always made me listen to a new song -he continues- and know the structure of that song.

A lot of Radiohead

", recalls Juliana in reference to the progressive rock group that the budding musician liked when -unknowingly- together they began to create a success that it wouldn't take long to arrive.

Far from being a diligent and studious student, Bizarrap also showed several virtues in Juliana's classes, who immediately realized that he was a step above the average of the other students.

"

He has a great musical ear.

Sometimes I would explain something to him and he would immediately say:

'ah! Yes! Like this?'

And it was like that,"

Ella

says .

And he adds, "He always understood everything right away.

It wasn't to study too much, but because he retained a lot from each class and knew how to apply it on the instrument

. He was almost never absent, sometimes he brought his backpack empty and we laughed; he forgot to put the things. But he didn't need a lot of them. He kept everything in his head."

"He was an unusual student, but with very clear ideas," recalls Bizarrap's piano teacher.

Bizarrap is 24 years old today and has

17 million followers on Instagram, 18 on YouTube

and an accomplished success in every session he records and publishes with the collaboration of great artists such as, in his latest Top One _Global, with

Shakira

, and before with others like

Paulo Londra, Quevedo, Duki, Snow, Villano Antillano.

His teacher from the West says that the phenomenon was coming.

" I

lived his growth

with quite a connection with him, and was very

surprised by the speed at which things happened.

Even though I knew that it would go well for him, because his ideas were clear and very good,

I did not imagine how fast," she

says and you can see the affection and satisfaction.

The same sensations are generated by the boom that session 53 with Shakira has now become and his reproaches to his ex, the Catalan footballer Gerard Piqué, which became something like a global debate.

Bizarrap, Shakira and a "session" that became the most listened to song in Spanish in a single day in history.

"I knew that you were going to achieve everything you told me in piano classes. Happy for every growth of yours Gonza. My chest explodes with emotion. Studying is always worth it," he published after listening to it - now just uploaded to the platforms, and not before- on her Instagram account the teacher, who has her own -and successful- musical career.

With the Guns N' Roses

Beyond her teaching task, Juliana achieved great things in her professional career as a musician.

She started at the age of 7, studying piano with whom she is her private teacher throughout her life: Silvana Muiño.

It was she who took her to take exams at the

Ramos Mejía School of Music.

Juliana between the keyboards, her specialty in music.

Her dedication and study made her a much-required performer, and she was part of Guillermina Rock, a Haedo band founded in 1999 that had a significant impact, and in which she played the piano: like Bizarrap among her students, the group rock was its maximum expression as music.

He says that it is "the band of a lifetime".

With its members he shares the neighborhood and a great friendship.

Together they shared the highest point in Guillermina's history, when they were a support group for the show that

Guns and Roses

gave in Rosario in 2011 to present the album "

Chinese Democracy

".

"

All the deployment and professionalism that I saw was incredible

," she recalls, humbly, now, without puffing out her chest.

Guillermina Rock, Juliana's band that was the opening act for Guns N Roses in Rosario, in 2011.

Currently, she is still linked to the group, taking care of the communication and press of her friends.

And of course, from time to time they invite her back on stage to remember those times.

Another of his projects linked to his music profession has to do with the radio, with a rock music program on Kamikaze Radio, a signal that has its station in Ituzaingó.

And of course: with a teaching career of more than 20 years and a lot of talent on the keys, Juliana continues to promote talents like Bizarrap in the West,

Juliana continues to train talent at her school in Haedo, where she has students from 5 to 85 years old.

"La Sala", his venture, has been in the West for more than 10 years and, he is proud, is becoming more and more established.

She is no longer alone in the project: she is accompanied by a team of teachers who help her with other instruments, such as the guitar, and also with singing.

Antonela Balocco teaches electric guitar;

criolla and ukulele, Ludmila Poynter teaches singing and Juliana, the promoter of the studio, continues to lead the piano classes, in groups or individually, with which she guides people of all ages from the area: she has students from 5 to 85 years old. .

Among all of them, and in her hands, perhaps there is another Bizarrap there.
