A leader of the terrorist organization (ISIS) and two of his companions were killed during an operation carried out by the security forces in the town of Al-Muzayrib in the western countryside of Daraa.
A security source told SANA reporter: The security forces stormed a headquarters of the terrorist organization (ISIS), next to the preparatory school in the northern neighborhood of the town of Al-Muzayrib, and clashed directly with them, which led to the killing of the terrorist leader Muhammad Ali Al-Shaghouri, nicknamed Abu Omar Al-Shaghouri, who is one of the remaining leaders of the organization in the countryside of Daraa. Western, responsible for the assassinations and attacks that were taking place in the region.
The source pointed out that the operation also resulted in the killing of the two escorts of the terrorist Al-Shaghouri, Ahmed Khaled Al-Masry and Mohsen Zitawi, and their individual weapons were also confiscated.
Last year, the security forces conducted security operations in cooperation with army units and local and civil groups in several towns in the western and northern countryside of Daraa and in the Tariq al-Sad neighborhood, which resulted in the elimination of dozens of terrorists of the organization (ISIS), among whom was the well-known leader of the organization, Abu al-Hasan al-Hashimi al-Qurashi. Basem Saif Baghdad, who was killed during the security operation in the city of Jassim on the 15th of last October.
