Programming separately and reality separately: these days the editing of a new documentary series that accompanies couples trying to get pregnant at the Fertility Hospital in Asuta, from the beginning of the process to the birth, has been completed.
The series, created by Lee Yardani and Ami Tir for Channel 12, accompanied 12 couples in fertility treatments for about a year, and was scheduled for the channel's prime time broadcasts.
About a month after the end of filming, on September 22, the case of the fetuses in Assuta Rishon LeZion was revealed, in which a woman underwent artificial insemination with a fetus that was not hers.
In the last months, the series was held and now, this is how Wala found out!
Baranja, in the shadow of the developments in the case, the channel is considering whether and when to broadcast the series, since the couples photographed in it are not related to the story.
A few months ago, the Ministry of Health announced at a press conference the results of the hearing held regarding the failure, and the decision made regarding the continued operation of the unit.
The office emphasized that in order to protect the welfare of the patients, as well as to protect public health, it was decided that it would be possible to allow the continuation of the unit's activity, but that the treatment cycles in the unit must be reduced by 50 percent.
The timing of the decision is not accidental, next month Keshet will launch what it calls "the year of drama", in which it will launch new and original series, which will also be broadcast as part of FREETV - the company's new streaming brand.
Request refused to comment on things.
