Instead of one, four wind turbines are now planned at Jesenwang

At first, only one wind turbine was planned, now it could become a cloverleaf: Four wind turbines are now to be built in the forest near Jesenwang.

The new legislation makes this possible.

Jesenwang – The planned first wind turbine already has a positive preliminary decision from the approval authority.

The location lives up to the old 10 rule.

It is therefore far enough away from residential development, even against the background of the previously very restrictive legislation.

In addition, the wind turbine cleared the hurdle of the overflight problem.

The heights were changed so that the plant can arise.

After the change in the Bavarian wind power legislation, locations in forests are no longer subject to the 10-H rule.

Between Jesenwang and Grafrath is therefore more possible than just one bike.

The Bürger-Energiegenossenschaft Freising has now not publicly informed the Jesenwanger municipal council that they now want to build four wind turbines in the area instead of the one.

The next day, the cooperative published a first draft on its website.

Species protection

A spokesman will confirm the plans upon request.

The changed rules would result in new opportunities for the location.

The first step for the BEG: getting the citizens of Jesenwang on board by participating in the systems and obtaining further positive preliminary decisions.

As the spokesman explains, the species protection investigation has already begun.

This is designed in such a way that all four possible locations are included.

They are all lying in the woods because the 10-H rule no longer applies here.

“The legislator ensures that we have to go into the forest.

10-H would continue to apply in the field.” The spokesman emphasizes: Certainly nothing will be built in the forest tomorrow, the procedures are only just beginning. “But something is happening.”

Jesenwang's Mayor Erwin Fraunhofer also confirms the plans when asked and refers to a public information event that has already been scheduled for February 9th.

The council hasn't really discussed the issue yet.

But the fact is: The locations are all more than 1000 meters away from the residential development and thus enjoy the great approval advantage of privileges.

In the fly in

The information evening

will take place on Thursday, February 9th, from 7.30 p.m. in the Fly-in restaurant at the airport.

At the same time, Jesenwang has launched a priority area plan that should be able to intervene in order.

The wheel closest to the residential development would be around 1700 meters away, explains Fraunhofer.

One thing is clear: the energy cooperative wants to build significantly higher systems than those currently known from Mammendorf.

This increases the effectiveness of the wheels enormously.

The airfield also ensures that the bikes are relatively far away from the village: Because this forces the traffic patterns to be kept clear, so that the bikes have to move far into the forest.

(

By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular

FFB newsletter.)

So far, the question of whether and to what extent Jesenwang as a municipality will participate in the wheels is unclear.

Several models are conceivable.

Even without participation, however, money would flow into the budget of the local community.

The municipality of Jesenwang was already very open during the talks about the first planned wind turbine, with Fraunhofer also emphasizing that the processes are only just beginning.

According to the mayor, building applications can be expected in the summer of 2024 at the earliest.

Fraunhofer: “The boat is moving.

I can't stop it."

Power, amount: The data on the systems

The energy cooperative would like to build Enercon E-160 systems.

The output would be 5.5 megawatts each.

The hub height would be 166 meters, the rotor blades would be 80 meters long.

The BEG calculates that the power consumption of 38,000 people could be covered.

The BEG puts forward CO2 savings of 37,000 tons per year.

After around nine months of operation, the energy used for the systems should have paid for itself.

Around 8,000 square meters of space (including the crane space) should be required for each wind turbine.

When it comes to citizen participation, the residents of Jesenwang should have priority, as should those from Grafrath, Moorenweis, Landsberied and Kottgeisering.
