A fire broke out in a building on Fa Yuen Street in Mong Kok this afternoon (20th), and 20 British shorthair cats were killed in the flames. The tragic situation at the scene was exposed.
The incident happened at around 5:00 this afternoon, smoke and fire emanated from the roof of Chiu Ming Building at Nos. 145-161 Fa Yuen Street. The firefighters arrived at the scene after receiving the report. They dispatched a smoke cap team and raised a ladder to open a throat to fight the fire. After about 20 minutes, the fire was extinguished.
The house on the rooftop was burnt to the ground, and 20 cats were buried in the fire. The male and female cat owners were emotional after hearing the news of the death of their beloved cat. They cried sadly and said: "A fire burned my 20 puppies..."
The roof of Kiu Ming Building, Nos. 145-161, Fa Yuen Street, Mong Kok caught fire, and the whole house was burnt down.
It is understood that the incident happened in the rooftop house on the 12th floor of the building. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Feng, have lived there for many years. They have about 20 British shorthair cats that they bred at home, each worth more than 10,000 yuan.
Before the incident, Mr. Feng was not at home, and Mrs. Feng was worshiping God. It was suspected that other items were accidentally set on fire while burning the paper. The entire rooftop house was burned down, and 20 British shorthair cats died.

Seeing the tragic death of their beloved cat, the Fung couple were emotional. Mr. Feng said in a tearful voice, "20 kittens are just like this, and my 20 kittens will be exposed in a fire..." Mrs. Feng also said to the 20 beloved cats: Feeling sad, I even shouted excitedly: "Thank you more X ghosts and gods, I will not pretend to be fragrant in the future and let you guys!"
