On November 22, in Créteil, Yanis had trained four friends to rob the apartment of his ex, who will also be hit.

"It's been almost two months and we have no beginning of reflection, nothing!

This Thursday, the president of the Créteil criminal court is struggling to hide her dismay at the responses of one of the five defendants, tried in particular for kidnapping, violence and aggravated theft, committed on November 22 at the against the former girlfriend of one of them.

Yanis, the victim's ex-companion, was sentenced to two years in prison, including one year probation.

The rest of his sentence will be executed at his father's house in Normandy with an electronic bracelet.

His boyfriend who had pinned the victim on the bed for nine long minutes was sentenced to thirty months of detention, twelve of which were suspended on probation and six months suspended, all with continued detention.

The other three receive sentences ranging from eight months in prison, to eighteen months suspended, executed with an electronic bracelet.

Eventually, they will all be released for confinement.

The requisitions of the public prosecutor were much heavier: from twelve months in prison with a warrant to four years in prison, including a year of suspension, for a case which she described as “bad horror film”.

Yanis, 19, suspected his ex-girlfriend of having a new lover.

He then leads four friends to rob the young woman's apartment.

For this, he makes them dangle money as confirmed by two of the defendants.

“It was my first love”, stammers the victim to describe the young man who has never ceased to weave between the answers.

“It is the most immature and the most manipulative, thunders the prosecutor during her requisitions.

There is a lack of courage on his part unlike the others.

“I felt like I was failing”

The team, which had met the day before at the cinema with the future victim, leaves Paris and arrives in a building in Créteil at midnight.

The future victim, an 18-year-old Moroccan student, watches a series alone in the apartment.

Her aunt, with whom she lives, is on a business trip.

It's banging on the door.

The young woman gets up, looks through the peephole and sees several people with hidden faces.

She flees to her bedroom when the door is kicked in.

One of the five thieves joins her, throws himself on her, and presses her against the bed.

“I was screaming into the cushion.

Then he strangled me and I felt like I was fainting,” she says.

Her attacker punches her in the face and then spreads her legs.

"He touched my buttocks," she mumbles at the bar.

“It is more than a material break-in, it is also psychological and physical”, describes the prosecutor who requested the heaviest sentence for this attacker.

The victim unable to continue his studies

“There was violence, sexist insults, repeated but unsuccessful death threats, insists Me Quentin Claro, the victim's lawyer.

At a time when you think you're safe at home, Yanis knew perfectly well that she was all alone.

“He will remain on the doorstep, paralyzed, while his accomplices steal three luxury bags, the flat screen, a computer, jewelry… A coveted loot, which they will partly get rid of in the hours that follow. .

The victim recognizes the nickname of a friend of Yanis, "Teddy bear".

She even suspects her ex-boyfriend of being in on it.

The latter will come to spend a large part of the next day with her to comfort her.

“Misplaced minds might think that you were trying to find out what she had to say,” the president slips in disgust.

“I was trying to make amends,” he dares.

Since the facts, the young woman, who came especially to study tourism in France, can no longer get to class and has had anxiety attacks.

A psychological expertise has yet to render its conclusions.
