The victim was 45 years old and was attacked by three thieves when he was sleeping with his partner during the early hours of this Saturday. They fled without stealing.

The sale of a house was what triggered the crime of a 45-year-old man.

Three criminals had that information and did not hesitate to go and steal the money from the family's home in the Berazategui district.

The armed robbers entered the home at 3900 Valentín Vergara Avenue in Ranelagh at 4:30 in the morning this Saturday.

There lived the couple and the mother of the victim, 83 years old, who was not harmed.

Roberto Carlos Martínez (45) tried to defend himself

from the thieves' attack because he wanted to protect his partner, Patricia Fabiana R. (51).

The struggle ended when the criminals began to shoot and fled without actually stealing.

Martinez was shot multiple times in the arm, leg, and torso.

He passed away a few minutes inside his home.

The woman

had sold a house in early January and part of that money was hers.

However, the largest percentage had been left by her children.

That is why the investigators suspect that the gang had that information.

Patricia, who is a housewife, called 911 to report what had happened and ask for help.

Police officers from the 2nd police station.

de Ranelagh began to investigate the fact after the call and after arriving at the place.

Judicial sources explained to

Clarín

that the criminals

"were hooded, so the woman did not see their faces."

He didn't recognize anyone by voice either.

Both she and the victim have children of legal age from previous partners and also have grandchildren.

The prosecutor in the case, Daniel Ichazo, in charge of the decentralized Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) 1 in Berazategui, Quilmes Judicial Department, ordered the autopsy to determine the number of shots the victim received.

The Public Prosecutor's Office analyzes the security cameras in the area and takes testimonies from Martínez's environment.

, was the woman's response to her partner's publication.

"The most beautiful and unforgettable day for us, my love eternally in love, my beautiful brunette, I love you

," Martínez wrote along with a video where he was seen asking her to marry him with an engagement ring on a beach in Las Toninas.
