There was complete silence over the weekend when Prime Minister Netanyahu accepted the US national security adviser, Jake Sullivan. The same Netanyahu who tore the previous government to shreds on the grounds that it was not fighting the US's intention to return to the nuclear agreement with Iran, did not even tweet One sign of criticism in the ears of the American senior, neither on Iran nor on other issues, on the administration's policy.
A day before their meeting, it was reported that talks were taking place between a senior American official and Iran's ambassador to the UN.
"We see you as loyal partners in matters of common security," Netanyahu said and repeated Hapoel S.T.P., over and over again.
This is the man who accused the previous government of "bowing"?!
Is this the politician who demanded from Bennett and Lapid "to act as a buffer" against the nuclear agreement?!
And no, nothing real has changed since then.
The nuclear agreement is no less realistic today than it was two or three months ago.
In fact, just two weeks ago, at the first meeting of his new government, Netanyahu himself claimed that "the nuclear agreement is not dead."
And here he is now filling his mouth with water, and only sails in the praises of the Biden administration.

Not only on the issue of Iran, Netanyahu aligns with the Americans.
In recent days, he dismantled a new outpost in Yosh, delayed the construction of a new neighborhood in Jerusalem and prevented a completely technical split of two old settlements in the Binyamin area. We are only in the third week of the government's tenure.
For the matter itself, there is nothing wrong with maintaining a good relationship with the US. On the contrary, especially when the new government intends to take steps that provoke international criticism, it should choose the right battles against Washington. Netanyahu also demonstrates in this chain of measures his promise to the Americans that his own hands are on The steering wheel, which will contribute to the trust in him of Biden and his administration.
And yet, if anyone still cares about the small value called truth, here it is: Netanyahu overthrew the previous government through a propaganda campaign based on lies.
Bennett was not a leftist.
Lapid and Gantz did not remain silent in the face of the nuclear agreement.
Despite the facts, Netanyahu managed to create the opposite impression in the right-wing public.
But from the moment he won - not for the first time and not unlike his predecessors - he is leading exactly the same policy he attacked.
