A 7-year-old girl was slightly injured today (Saturday) by a glass that shattered at home in the Pisgat Ze'ev neighborhood in Jerusalem.

The MDA team that arrived at the scene gave her treatment and evacuated her to Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus. The police began investigating the circumstances of the incident, following a suspicion that the glass was shattered by a stray shot fired from a nearby village.

MDA medic Shimon Zaltz and MDA paramedic Nadav Arzi said that "when we arrived , we saw a seven-year-old girl fully conscious, she was a little upset and suffered from a small scratch on her head, apparently from glass that shattered in the door leading to the courtyard of the house.

We examined her and treated the injury and then evacuated her for further tests in the emergency room as her condition was mild."
