A pothole opened today (Saturday) on Allenby Street in Tel Aviv, policemen who arrived at the scene blocked the road and vehicles passed through the opposite lane of travel.
According to photographs from the scene, it appears that the pit is a few meters long and deep.
Drivers arriving at the scene are asked to drive with caution and obey the instructions of the police officers on the scene.

Last month, four potholes were opened in Tel Aviv.
First, on Pankas Street which is next to Ibn Gvirol Street.
At the same time, a pit was also opened near Menorah Mivathim Hall in the Yad Eliyahu neighborhood of the city.
A few hours later, two more pits opened - one of them near the Hagana train station, and the other on Har Zion Boulevard in the city.
The series of road collapses apparently occurred due to the erosion of the sandy soil below the road following the rain.
Last November, a sinkhole opened up on Ayalon Road, near the train tracks at the La Guardia interchange to the south in Tel Aviv.
Three lanes were blocked and the police were called to the scene.
No casualties were reported and there was heavy traffic in the area.
That same week, a sinkhole opened at the corner of Ibn Gvirol-Zeitlin Street, near the light rail works there.
The northbound road was blocked to traffic and no injuries were reported.
