Two boys were killed in a car accident on Route 6, December 26, 2022 (MDA)
A woman in her 30s was killed this morning (Sunday) in a car accident between three vehicles on Highway 722 near the Yakneam intersection in the north.
In addition, a 40-year-old man was seriously injured and two others were slightly injured.
Medical teams that arrived at the scene had to pronounce the woman dead on the spot, treated the injured and evacuated them to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
Following the accident, the road was blocked to traffic.
MDA paramedic Doron Baker said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a very serious traffic accident. Two vehicles A vehicle that was standing on the traffic island was crushed with severe metal hits in its front part. A 30-year-old woman was trapped in one of the vehicles, we performed medical tests during the rescue operations, but her injury was critical, and after resuscitation operations, we had to pronounce her dead."

"Three more injured were lying on the road, one of them, a 40-year-old man, was unconscious and suffered a severe head injury, and two were fully conscious," continued the paramedic.
"We gave them medical treatment and evacuated them in MDA intensive care vehicles to Rambam Hospital."
Yesterday, an 81-year-old man was killed by a car on Moshe Barzani Street, in the Ramat Aviv neighborhood of Tel Aviv.
The pedestrian was fatally injured and was evacuated by MDA to the Ichilov Hospital in the city, during CPR. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. The police began investigating the circumstances of the accident.
