The adult education centers in Eching and Allershausen have been cooperating closely and well for over 20 years.
Now they have merged.

– premiere just in time for the new year: the adult education centers of Allershausen and Eching, which have been cooperating closely and well for over 20 years, have merged.
Under the motto "Together we are stronger", the two branches in Eching and Allershausen have positioned themselves with the entire team in an administrative unit that has long been aspired to for the future.
Since 2010, the “Vhs branch” initiated by the “Förderverein Adult Education Fahrenzhausen” for the citizens of Fahrenzhausen has also been part of the organizational umbrella of the Vhs Eching.
The merger ensures that the minimum Vhs size required by the association can be reliably and reliably maintained.
The merger, which operates under the new name Vhs Eching-Allershausen, relies on the bundling of resources.
In this way, the operational work, i.e. the administrative effort, is more effective overall and more suitable for home offices.
The six departments are - without the previous duplications - independent of location and split in half between Eching and Allershausen.
The Echings branch manager Daniela Kirschstein is responsible for the area of society, her deputy Ulrike Brandstetter for languages and health and the Allershausen branch manager Andrea Muth for culture, work and young adult education centers.

According to Kirschstein and Muth, it was a tremendous, “very athletic” feat to implement the joint conceptual ideas and build a digital infrastructure in such a short time.
Both only took over their respective branch management last year and are proud to present a joint trimester program for 01/2023.
With the switch from two to three programs per calendar year that took place last year, they are reacting to the changed, mostly very short-term booking behavior of the participants and enabling more flexible planning.
In addition, fundamental innovations in terms of design, structure and content were implemented in the handbag-sized program magazine, which was produced in an environmentally friendly manner.
The new layout includes a new logo,
namely the blue-framed transparent lettering Vhs with a blue asterisk.
The next step is a new website that corresponds to the design of the program booklet.
In the current year, the creation of a common legal and corporate form is to take place, in which the local sponsoring associations will be brought together.
The motto "Together we are stronger" applies not only to the completed merger, but also to the cooperation with and the acquisition of local and regional educational partners.
The aim is to expand and build networks, especially in Allershausen and the surrounding area.
Dealing with the complex topic of climate and energy transition takes account of the ticking pulse of the times.
From Saturday, April 23rd to Saturday, April 29th, the Vhs is taking part in the first Echingen "Climate Spring" with numerous activities, workshops, seminars, as well as film and discussion evenings.
Online formats have become established in the job and career program area.
The focus is in particular on "working in the home office".
This year, the young Vhs is playing in the "Löwenliga" for the first time and offers self-assertion and resilience training for elementary school students.
The adventure days on offer are exciting, entertaining and yet educationally meaningful leisure activities, for example an alpaca hike or a bird call excursion along the Amper.
In the wide-ranging health program there is a wealth of relaxation, exercise and fitness offers - from A autogenic training to Z for Zumba.
The number of health insurance-certified prevention courses such as Pilates and Qi Gong has increased significantly.
A dry swimming course (for adult non-swimmers) is part of the program for the first time.
There are also news in the language area with German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.
This includes “German for work”.
A new format is offered especially for parents, an Italian course in which babies and toddlers can be brought to the family-friendly course room.
