Munich – For a long time, January was headed for what is probably the warmest January of all time – but then winter came, and not exactly tentatively.
Last Wednesday he surprised northern Bavaria, paralyzed bus traffic, canceled face-to-face classes at schools and led to numerous accidents.
He also caused surprises towards the weekend, with plenty of new snow rising on Saturday evening, January 21st, the danger of avalanches in the Alps.
And it's not over yet: the next snow roller is already on its way.

But this is only short-lived: the next snowfall in Bavaria will already be on Sunday evening, in the night of Monday, January 23, and on Monday morning.
Jung speaks of the “next snowfall area”, which is already approaching – and will be moving across Bavaria in the direction of Baden-Württemberg from late Sunday evening.

Jung also warns of "considerable slippery traffic in rush hour" on Monday morning.

However, the south to the middle of the Free State is more affected, in the north, in contrast to last week, less snow is to be expected.
The German Weather Service is also taking the recent snowfall as an opportunity to issue a warning - and this applies to all of Bavaria.
For the entire Sunday, the DWD warns of ice and frost, it is an official level one warning.

Cold at night - and the view of the weather week
It will remain correspondingly cold for the next few days.
On Sunday, a maximum of zero degrees can be expected throughout Bavaria, during the night the temperatures in the southern regions drop to minus eight degrees and in the northern areas to around minus three degrees.
From Monday, the temperatures will fluctuate sometimes above, sometimes below zero degrees in Bavaria.
From time to time the sun even comes out when the sky is cloudy. According to the current weather forecast, no more snowfall is to be expected during the week.
