Delek Motors, an importer of BMW vehicles, publishes a recall for 52 BMW iX vehicles.
The call refers to models manufactured between August 2021 and June 2022 due to fear of a charging interruption or shutdown of the high voltage system in the vehicle.
This is the possibility of a software fault in the battery control that may cause these.
Medalek informs that as part of the reading, a software update will be performed according to the manufacturer's instructions and the estimated work time is about two hours.
A written notification will be sent by Israel Post upon the arrival of the new parts to all relevant vehicle owners.
You can also get updated in front of the company's service center.
The repair will be carried out at the company's service centers free of charge.
It is important to remember that according to rule 306 (a) of the traffic regulations, a vehicle owner who does not actually carry out the re-call within 6 months, the Ministry of Transport will not renew the vehicle license and also according to rule 306 (c) the vehicle owner will not be able to transfer ownership.
