The woman who accused Dani Alves of having raped her in a nightclub in December is not seeking financial compensation from the Brazilian soccer player, the newspaper El País reported on Sunday, and assures that she only wants justice to be done and that the player pay with the jail.
The newspaper adds that Alves offered three different versions to the police, which were not satisfied with any of them.
Sources close to the investigation indicated that the 23-year-old woman, whose identity was not disclosed, explicitly renounced receiving compensation if Alves, 39, is convicted, despite the fact that the judge in the case reminded her that she is legally entitled to the injuries and moral damages allegedly suffered.

Alves entered provisional prison without bail in Barcelona on Friday accused of an alleged rape of a woman on December 30 at the Sutton nightclub in that city.
The soccer player denied the accusation and said at first that he did not know the woman at all, but the police consider that the alleged victim's story is coherent and agrees with evidence (footprints and biological remains, according to the newspaper).

The athlete flew from Mexico to Spain to testify before the police for the accusation.
Upon his arrival he was arrested and brought before the judge.
In a testimony of less than an hour, he incurred "numerous contradictions," according to legal sources cited by the newspaper.
The woman's account was solid: she says that she did not know him, that she offered him a drink and that he then raped her in the disco's bathroom.

the woman arrived at the disco at 2 in the morning with a friend and her cousin.
There they met some Mexicans who invited them to go up to the exclusive area of the premises.
Alves and a friend of hers invited her to her table, and she did not recognize him until her Mexican friends told her who she was.
The soccer player, according to the woman's account to the authorities, began to harass her: “I was disgusted.
From behind he took my hand, put it on her penis and I took it off, ”he explained.
Then he led her to a bathroom, where he violently raped her, according to her story.
She left crying, explained to a doorman what had happened and he took her to the owner of the nightclub, according to what he explained to the authorities.
From there she was taken to a hospital to be examined.
On Sunday, Alves asked the judge to allow him to testify again to change his version, according to the Cadena Ser radio station. At first, he said that he did not know the woman at all;
then he assured that it was she who jumped on him to have sexual relations, according to the newspaper El País.
