Following the serious incidents of violence last week, the Medical Association announced a strike tomorrow (Monday) that will include the general, geriatric, psychiatric and rehabilitation hospitals throughout the country.
The strike will start from 07:00 am until 7:00 am the next day.
On the day of the strike, the hospitals will work in a Sabbath and holiday format.
Therefore, just as emergency treatments - urgent dialysis services, intensive care, emergency rooms, delivery rooms, prematurity and oncology treatments - operate during the strike, so they will also operate during the strike.
CEOs, hospital managers, IDF doctors, the Ministry of Defense, the Israel Police and the Prison Service - did not sit down.
The strike will start tomorrow at 07:00 for 24 hours.

The strike will include the community clinics, the health bureaus in the government ministries, among others: outpatient clinics, the provision of IVF treatments will be examined individually by the Exceptions Committee which will discuss each case individually.
Unless otherwise decided by the Exceptions Committee, these will be disabled.
As part of the strike, all community clinics of the health funds will be closed.
In addition, there were doctors working in the health bureaus, school doctors, doctors working in government offices and other medical institutions, as well as doctors performing administrative duties.

The Director General of the Ministry of Health Moshe Bar Siman Tov sent a letter to all employees in the health system in which he expressed concern about the escalation in cases of violence and announced that in February a "hot line" will be opened as part of the "Voice of Health" call center of the Ministry of Health to report incidents of violence against the medical staff. Details and explanation about the service will be published on the website of the Ministry of Health.
In addition, a "Desk" for managing complaints about violence at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health will be launched with the aim of centralizing the incidents of violence in the health system, individual monitoring of the complaints, the indictments and the accompanying legal processes. Detailed instructions on the subject will be sent to the professionals in the organizations, in the coming days.
