Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Economic Relations Peter Sijarto announced that energy supplies in his country cannot be guaranteed without Russian oil and gas.
Cigarto said in an interview with La Repubblica newspaper, according to RIA Novosti: When you are in a landlocked area, if you do not get Russian energy resources, you cannot supply your country with them, so it is necessary to maintain relations with Moscow and ensure exceptions regarding sanctions in the European Union. , pointing out that geography and reality are important in policy decisions.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said earlier: Europe is losing because of its rejection of Russian energy sources in favor of American ones, as it is forced to overpay 5 to 10 times more.
