Palestinian Foreign Ministry: Occupation crimes require urgent international intervention

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned of the consequences of the daily dangerous escalation of the Israeli occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people, their land and their sanctities, which constitutes disregard for the international positions calling for their cessation, stressing that these violations require urgent international intervention by the United Nations, the International Criminal Court and the Human Rights Council.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the suffocating occupation measures in the West Bank, especially in the occupied city of Jerusalem, in terms of the continuation of killing, abuse, oppression, arrests, the seizure of Palestinian lands and attacks on sanctities, fall within the framework of implementing its aggressive and Judaization plans to displace Jerusalemites and demolish their homes or expel them by force in A desperate attempt to break their will and steadfastness.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral obligations towards the Palestinian people, and to translate positions into real actions and measures capable of pressuring the occupation to stop its violations, and to take decisive measures that enable the Palestinians to regain their legitimate and inalienable rights, foremost of which is self-determination and the establishment of their independent state.
