With the participation of more than 100 male and female players representing most of the governorates, in addition to the Central Police Authority, the Republic Table Tennis Championship for promising and promising students was concluded in Al-Assad Sports City in Lattakia.

In the promising category, Hovik Misakian from Aleppo won the championship, followed by Mustafa Kurdieh, Abdelaziz Mousli, Younis Arwani, Diaa Seijri, Omar Salloum, Yamen Awwad and Izz al-Din Musli, all from Hama.

In the category of promising women, the first eight places, respectively, came to Abba Hallaq from Idlib, Hala Hamama from Hama, Taj Musa, Sarah Souf, and Haya Maarawi, all from Lattakia, and Juman Dayoub and Rand Issa from Tartous, and Maryam Issa from Lattakia.

The Secretary of the Union, Lodi Amin, said in a statement to SANA: In this tournament, a group of male and female players from the budding category in the higher category (promising) were involved in order to gain more experience, and they will be included in the next Republic Championship, noting that this tournament is an opportunity to uncover many raw materials. Which will be taken care of and sponsored by conducting qualifying training camps, to benefit from them within our national teams, to be ready to participate in any upcoming entitlements.
