The student Issa Asaad, eight years old, has a remarkable talent in writing Arabic calligraphy, which made him, despite his young age, worthy of being honored, celebrated, and encouraged to follow his steps in this path.

And in honor of his talent and to motivate him and his peers to be creative, the Ministry of Education honored the child Issa today by handing him a certificate of appreciation for his excellence in writing Arabic calligraphy.

Dr. Darem Al-Tabbaa, Minister of Education, considered that honoring Issa came for his superiority and high skills in writing Arabic calligraphy, noting the importance of celebrating the talent of this child to motivate his peers to follow his example, and to release and develop their creativity and talents in various educational subjects and various scientific and artistic fields.

Waad, the father of the child, Issa, spoke in a statement to SANA reporter about his feeling of happiness at honoring his son, who will give a motive to the children’s families in order to take care of their children and their talents, hoping that the circumstances will allow his son to participate in Syrian and Arab competitions to raise the flag of the homeland in all forums.

Waad explained that he discovered with Issa's mother the talent of their son in writing Arabic calligraphy with beauty and grace since he was six, when they noticed his motor, emotional and expressive abilities, his reactions and responses with them and with his teacher.

He describes the promise of his son Jesus as calm and loving to learn everything new, and passionate about reciting the Holy Qur’an and writing verses from it in his beautiful, harmonious handwriting. He also loves the stories of the prophets and asks many questions to know and discover what surrounds him.

Waad explained how his child enjoys drawing and writing letters and spending a lot of time with a notebook and pen, and his passion for drawing landscapes and cartoon characters, and when he entered school, his desire to develop his talent in calligraphy increased, and he moved from writing letters to words and sentences, and he began to practice drawing with writing jobs to spend hours Since his day after doing his homework in practicing calligraphy and drawing with his mother, who uses the Internet to choose paintings from which her son draws what decorates his notebooks, his passion for finding new ways to write letters and mastery in writing them increased.

The father of the child, Issa, who praised the role of his school in following him up, especially his teacher Sherine, who always encourages him to be a model for his classmates, expressed his hope to nurture and support his son's talent and the rest of the distinguished children, and to develop counseling programs that ensure that their energies are invested in the required manner.

And the child, Issa Asaad, from the village of Al-Hawaiq, in the Salhab region, in the western Hama countryside.
