Hundreds of Palestinians participated today in a stand in the village of Al-Khan Al-Ahmar, east of occupied Jerusalem, in response to settlers' calls to storm it, and to reject the Israeli occupation's plans to demolish it and forcibly displace its people.
Palestinian media reported that hundreds of Palestinians participated in a stand called for by the Palestinian national forces in the village of Al-Khan Al-Ahmar, and chanted slogans emphasizing their attachment to their land, and their rejection of the occupation's threats to demolish the village's homes and displace its people.
The head of the village council, Eid Jahalin, explained that the minister in the occupation government, Itamar Ben Gvir, and a number of members of the occupation Knesset intend to storm the village today, and we organized the stand to confront and protect it, and he said: “We are staying on our land and this is our right. our roots.”
Al-Khan Al-Ahmar is one of 46 villages that the occupation authorities plan to seize to establish more settlements, which threatens to displace more than 5,000 Palestinians, separating the city of Jerusalem from its surroundings and dividing the West Bank.
